A large area of low pressure will continue to bring scattered 
showers to far eastern North Dakota and northern Minnesota this 
morning. Showers will end during the day today, along with winds 
decreasing. Afternoon highs today will be in the 50s to mid 60s 
across the Northern Plains. 

It will be mainly dry for the middle of the work week, with
temperatures trending warmer. Widespread highs in the 70s are
expected by Thursday. The weather will then trend cooler and
wetter for the end of the work week and for next weekend.

Across North Dakota...temperatures are near 40 degrees west, near 44 degrees central, and near 49 degrees east. Current sky conditions are sunny west, sunny central, and partly sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 67%, and the dew point is near 30 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 57%, and the dew point is near 30 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 63%, and the dew point is near 37 degrees. Winds are from the north at 17 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northwest at 14 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the north at 29 mph with gusts at 36 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 49 degrees at YANKTON. The lowest temperature is 40 degrees at WILLISTON and MINOT.
