Widespread highs in the 70s are expected today, with increasing 
chances for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon into 
tonight. An isolated strong to severe storm is possible, mainly 
in western South Dakota. The weather will then trend cooler for 
the end of the work week and into the weekend, with continued 
decent chances for measurable rainfall Friday through Sunday for 
most areas.

Across North Dakota...temperatures are near 73 degrees west, near 73 degrees central, and near 78 degrees east. Current sky conditions are partly sunny west, cloudy central, and mostly sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 25%, and the dew point is near 36 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 38%, and the dew point is near 46 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 25%, and the dew point is near 40 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 25 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 18 mph with gusts at 37 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 31 mph with gusts at 43 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 80 degrees at MINOT AFB. The lowest temperature is MOSUNNY degrees at GRAND FORKS.
