Widespread highs in the 70s are expected today, with increasing 
chances for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon into 
tonight. An isolated strong to severe storm is possible, mainly 
in western South Dakota. The weather will then trend cooler for 
the end of the work week and into the weekend, with continued 
decent chances for measurable rainfall Friday through Sunday for 
most areas.

Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in North Dakota
Based on observations at 1000pm CDT, Thursday April 25, 2024

Across North Dakota...temperatures are near 60 degrees west, near 59 degrees central, and near 67 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, cloudy central, and partly cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 51%, and the dew point is near 42 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 72%, and the dew point is near 50 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 37%, and the dew point is near 40 degrees. Winds are calm west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 20 mph with gusts at 30 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 25 mph with gusts at 38 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 67 degrees at YANKTON. The lowest temperature is 57 degrees at HETTINGER ARPT.
