...New MESOSCALE UPDATE...

.MESOSCALE UPDATE...
Issued at 806 PM CDT Wed Apr 17 2024

Have updated the near term forecast to expand fog potential and
include a limited dense fog threat in the hazard graphics for
early Thursday morning over the lower Pine Belt region. Very humid
boundary layer conditions and diminishing southerly wind should
allow for fog development over southern/eastern portions of the
area, and some near term guidance suggest the potential for dense
fog. Will be monitoring overnight for potential adjustments to the
fog messaging. Otherwise, expect lingering light showers to
continue to diminish and no significant adjustments have been made
to most near term forecast elements. /EC/
