Current sky conditions are sunny north, sunny central, and sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 27%, and the dew point is near 30 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 25%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 20%, and the dew point is near 29 degrees. Ten tornadoes tore across the area, affecting the Kentucky counties of Adair, Metcalfe, Casey, Green, Larue, Marion, Hardin, Hart, Nelson, and Russell; and the Indiana counties of Scott and Jefferson. Two of the twisters produced F3 damage. A 28-year-old woman was killed in Metcalfe County as she was thrown from her destroyed mobile home. A 40-year-old man was killed when his house in Bonnieville (Hart County) was hit by one of the F3 tornadoes and blown off its foundation. This tornado injured many people when it caused several car accidents as it crossed Interstate 65.
