Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Missouri

Across Missouri...temperatures are near 44 degrees north, near 53 degrees central, and near 58 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, cloudy central, and cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 89%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 83%, and the dew point is near 48 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 78%, and the dew point is near 51 degrees. Winds are from the north at 7 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the north at 12 mph with gusts at 21 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the north at 9 mph with gusts at 23 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 58 degrees at West Plains. The lowest temperature is 44 degrees at Kirksville.

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight
 
 A complex of strong thunderstorms is working their way eastward
between I-70 and US-36. These storms have moved into a less favorable
environment; however, gusty winds and some hail remain possible.
Further showers and thunderstorms are expected until early afternoon
as a cold front moves through the area. Some isolated stronger storms
are possible south of US-50 and MO HWY 2.
