Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Missouri

Across Missouri...temperatures are near 48 degrees north, near 54 degrees central, and near 78 degrees south. Current sky conditions are cloudy north, light rain central, and mostly cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 86%, and the dew point is near 44 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 83%, and the dew point is near 49 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 55%, and the dew point is near 61 degrees. Winds are from the north at 16 mph with gusts at 25 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northwest at 10 mph with gusts at 17 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Winds are from the west at 3 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 78 degrees at West Plains. The lowest temperature is 48 degrees at Kirksville.

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight
 
 A complex of strong thunderstorms is working their way eastward
between I-70 and US-36. These storms have moved into a less favorable
environment; however, gusty winds and some hail remain possible.
Further showers and thunderstorms are expected until early afternoon
as a cold front moves through the area. Some isolated stronger storms
are possible south of US-50 and MO HWY 2.
