Across Missouri...temperatures are near 40 degrees north, near 50 degrees central, and near 52 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, cloudy central, and cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 79%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 74%, and the dew point is near 42 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 77%, and the dew point is near 45 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 8 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 34 degrees north. Winds are from the northwest at 7 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the north at 16 mph with gusts at 22 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 52 degrees at West Plains. The lowest temperature is 40 degrees at Kirksville.

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight
 
 A complex of strong thunderstorms is working their way eastward
between I-70 and US-36. These storms have moved into a less favorable
environment; however, gusty winds and some hail remain possible.
Further showers and thunderstorms are expected until early afternoon
as a cold front moves through the area. Some isolated stronger storms
are possible south of US-50 and MO HWY 2.
