Current sky conditions are cloudy north, cloudy central, and light rain south. In the north, relative humidity is near 51%, and the dew point is near 39 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 46%, and the dew point is near 42 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 83%, and the dew point is near 48 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 17 mph with gusts at 23 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southeast at 14 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 7 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to light rain. US Radar, All NWS Radars (In near-real time), Current Livestock Heat Stress Index (LSI), Current Wind Chill Map Hazardous Weather Outlook For CLARK County,MO 912 AM CDT Thu Apr 25 2024 DAY ONE TODAY AND TONIGHT Isolated to scattered thunderstorms may spread eastward across the eastern Iowa and northeastern Missouri portions of the Outlook area after Midnight. Severe storms are not anticipated tonight. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY A wet and stormy pattern is setting up for Friday through Sunday night, as a pair of large low pressure systems move through the region. Some strong to severe storms will be possible Friday afternoon and especially Friday night as a warm front lifts north through the region with the first storm system. The associated front will linger over the region, leading to a persistent focus for thunderstorms Saturday and into Sunday when the second system passes. The better chances for severe storms these days currently appear to be Saturday night and again Sunday afternoon into the evening. Rounds of heavy rainfall could eventually lead to some flooding issues as well. The Storm Prediction Center has a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) for portions of the Outlook Area every day from Friday through Sunday. All modes of severe weather will be possible, but large hail and damaging winds will be the primary threats. SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight but will likely be needed at times Friday through Sunday.
