Current sky conditions are clear north, cloudy central, and cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 79%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 74%, and the dew point is near 42 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 77%, and the dew point is near 45 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 8 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 34 degrees north. Winds are from the northwest at 7 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the north at 16 mph with gusts at 22 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 52 degrees at West Plains. The lowest temperature is 40 degrees at Kirksville.

The greatest risk is for damaging winds, with large hail and tornadoes also posing potential risks. Frequent deadly lightning and locally heavy rains capable of sporadic flooding are also potential hazards. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Friday through Wednesday Lows in the upper 30s are possible this weekend, with Sunday night perhaps the best chance for frost to develop as skies clear and winds diminish then. These cooler temperatures and thus the chance of frost appears greatest along and north of the Ohio River.
