Dry high pressure moves into and across the region today 
through Saturday. A warming trend can be expected over the 
weekend with chance of showers Saturday night or Sunday. Warmer 
weather is then expected early next week for most areas except 
possibly the coastal plain with scattered showers.

Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Maine
Based on observations at 300am EDT, Thursday April 25, 2024

Across Maine...temperatures are near 20 degrees north, near 23 degrees central, and near 32 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, clear central, and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near 68%, and the dew point is near 11 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 57%, and the dew point is near 10 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 38%, and the dew point is near 9 degrees. Winds are from the west at 12 mph with gusts at 24 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. The wind chill is near 8 degrees north. Winds are from the northwest at 14 mph with gusts at 22 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. The wind chill is near 11 degrees central. Winds are from the northwest at 9 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 29 degrees at Rockland and Lewiston auburn. The lowest temperature is 18 degrees at Frenchville.
