A weak disturbance brings a chance for light showers across New
Hampshire and far western Maine today into tonight. Temperatures
will trend cooler as an onshore component to surface flow 
builds, culminating in the passage of a frontal system with 
light rain late Friday into Saturday. Quiet, mild, and dry 
weather, this time with more westerly flow, returns late 
Saturday through early next week.

Across Maine...temperatures are near 31 degrees north, near 32 degrees central, and near 38 degrees south. Current sky conditions are sunny north, sunny central, and mostly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 85%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 81%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 82%, and the dew point is near 33 degrees. Winds are calm north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 6 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 38 degrees at Sanford, Lewiston auburn, Fryeburg, and Augusta. The lowest temperature is 29 degrees at Presque Isle.
