through Saturday. A warming trend can be expected over the 
weekend with chance of showers Saturday night or Sunday. Warmer 
weather is then expected early next week for most areas except 
possibly the coastal plain with scattered showers.

Across Maine...temperatures are near 20 degrees north, near 23 degrees central, and near 28 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, clear central, and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near 65%, and the dew point is near 10 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 11 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 55%, and the dew point is near 14 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 12 mph with gusts at 22 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. The wind chill is near 8 degrees north. Winds are from the northwest at 12 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 12 degrees central. Winds are from the north at 3 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 28 degrees at Sanford, Rockland, and Augusta. The lowest temperature is 18 degrees at Frenchville.
