Winds turn southwesterly on Saturday with a warming trend 
expected over the weekend into early next week. A weak front 
will bring a few widely scattered showers Saturday night into 
Sunday. Monday will be warm away from the coast, with cooler 
temperatures along the coast where the sea breeze develops. 
Expect a better chance of showers on Tuesday along with much 
cooler temperatures.

Across Maine...temperatures are near 33 degrees north, near 33 degrees central, and near 32 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, clear central, and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near 45%, and the dew point is near 14 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 69%, and the dew point is near 24 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 75%, and the dew point is near 25 degrees. Winds are calm north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 38 degrees at Bangor. The lowest temperature is 27 degrees at Houlton.

An unusually strong occluded front swept out of the Gulf of Alaska and
produced the first April thunderstorm of record at Fairbanks. Pea size hail
fell northeast of Fairbanks from thunderstorms whose tops were less than
