High pressure slides south of the area today for warmer and dry
conditions. Low pressure approaches the region Wednesday 
bringing the next chance for rain. High pressure then builds in 
towards the end of the week. A warming trend can be expected 
over the weekend with chance of showers.

Across Maine...temperatures are near 55 degrees north, near 55 degrees central, and near 57 degrees south. Current sky conditions are sunny north, sunny central, and sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 26%, and the dew point is near 21 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 27%, and the dew point is near 22 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 24%, and the dew point is near 21 degrees. Winds are from the south at 17 mph with gusts at 31 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds.
