Quiet evening across the Four State as temperatures begin to drop
into the lower 70's. A few light showers are present on the KSHV 
radar along a boundary cutting through southern Arkansas, but 
should not amount to much, and may not even be hitting the ground
due to how light the reflectivity returns truly are. Beyond that,
conditions remain tame. No major changes are needed with this 
update as the afternoon package remains on track.

Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Louisiana
Based on observations at 1100pm CDT, Wednesday April 24, 2024

Across Louisiana...temperatures are near 72 degrees north, near 71 degrees central, and near 70 degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly cloudy north, clear central, and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near 83%, and the dew point is near 66 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 84%, and the dew point is near 66 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 84%, and the dew point is near 65 degrees. Winds are calm in the north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are coming from the southeast at 3 mph in the central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are coming from the south at 6 mph in the south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 72 degrees at Shreveport, New Orleans Lakefront, and Baton Rouge. The lowest temperature is 64 degrees at Alexandria.
