Current sky conditions are mostly sunny west, sunny central, and sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 44%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 39%, and the dew point is near 38 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 36%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. Current drying conditions are good west, good central, and good east. Winds are from the southwest at 14 mph with gusts at 23 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Kentucky Climate Summary Kentucky Climate Summary For the Period 04-16-2024 to 04-22-2024 Temperatures for the period averaged 60 degrees across the state which was 2 degrees warmer than normal and 2 degrees cooler than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 71 in the West to 71 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 0 degrees from normal in the West to 1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 52 degrees in the West to 51 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 4 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 8 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 89 degrees at KOOMER RIDGE and the extreme low was 28 degrees at BRANDENBURG 4SW.Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 0.63 inches statewide which was 0.55 inches below normal and 54% of normal.
