In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 73%, and the dew point is near 28 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 96%, and the dew point is near 45 degrees. Current drying conditions are fair west, fair central, and poor east. Tobacco stripping conditions are marginal west, marginal central, and favorable east. There is patchy fog east. Winds are from the north at 10 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 22 degrees west. High temperatures averaged from 52 in the West to 47 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 5 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 33 degrees in the West to 32 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 0 degrees from normal in the West to 2 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 63 degrees at FORT CAMPBELL and the extreme low was 19 degrees at CARLISLE 5SW.Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 0.11 inches statewide which was 0.97 inches below normal and 10% of normal.
