Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas
Based on observations at 600am CDT, Friday March 29, 2024

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 38 degrees west, near 50 degrees central, and near 45 degrees east. Current sky conditions are mostly cloudy west, clear central, and clear east. In the west, relative humidity is near 55%, and the dew point is near 23 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 80%, and the dew point is near 44 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 76%, and the dew point is near 38 degrees. Winds are from the west at 8 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 15 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 6 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 57 degrees at Topeka Billard. The lowest temperature is 37 degrees at Garden City.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday

Confidence is increasing for near critical fire weather 
conditions on Sunday, with a combination of relative humidity 
lower than 20 percent and gusty winds commonly to 35 mph or 
higher. Open fires can quickly escape and are very difficult to 
control, even for experienced fire fighters. 

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
