Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas
Based on observations at 600am CDT, Tuesday April 16, 2024

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 54 degrees west, near 64 degrees central, and near 68 degrees east. Current sky conditions are light rain west, cloudy central, and mostly cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 48%, and the dew point is near 35 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 83%, and the dew point is near 59 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 78%, and the dew point is near 61 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 23 mph with gusts at 35 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Winds are from the south at 16 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southeast at 21 mph with gusts at 31 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 71 degrees at Coffeyville. The lowest temperature is 46 degrees at Garden City and Dodge City.

Intense northwest winds are expected midday and early afternoon
Tuesday, with gusts as high as 60 mph across the northwest zones. 
Areas of blowing dust and difficult travel are expected. 

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Wednesday through Sunday.

No widespread hazardous weather is expected.
