Current sky conditions are fog west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 100%, and the dew point is near 56 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 81%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. Visibility is less than one mile west. Winds are from the southeast at 25 mph with gusts at 36 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and fog. Very large hail is possible with the strongest storms, and possibly a tornado. Near critical fire weather conditions are forecast for extreme southwest Kansas today. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Friday through Wednesday Severe thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon and evening over south central Kansas. Very large hail is possible with the strongest storms, and possibly a tornado. Critical fire weather conditions are forecast for much of southwest Kansas for Saturday.
