Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 74 degrees west, near 80 degrees central, and near 74 degrees east. Current sky conditions are partly cloudy west, mostly cloudy central, and clear east. In the west, relative humidity is near 17%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 40%, and the dew point is near 54 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 34%, and the dew point is near 44 degrees. Winds are from the southwest at 6 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 18 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 9 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 85 degrees at Medicine Lodge. The lowest temperature is 71 degrees at Topeka Forbes.

A family of at least six tornadoes caused death and destruction along parts
of a 210 mile path from north of Ogden IL to Allen County OH, killing
sixteen persons. A post card, picked up in Madison County IN, was found 124

One of the few severe hailstorms accompanied by snow, sleet, glaze, and
rain, pelted parts of Kay, Osage, Creek, Tulsa, Washington, and Rogers
