Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas
Based on observations at 1100pm CDT, Wednesday April 24, 2024

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 51 degrees west, near 66 degrees central, and near 60 degrees east. Current sky conditions are partly cloudy west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 63%, and the dew point is near 39 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 37%, and the dew point is near 39 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 57%, and the dew point is near 45 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 15 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southeast at 13 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southeast at 8 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 67 degrees at Winfield, Wichita Mcconl, and Medicine Lodge. The lowest temperature is 51 degrees at Goodland.

 DAY ONE  TONIGHT  

Patchy to locally dense fog tonight will be possible across western 
Kansas and extreme eastern Colorado.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY  

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Greeley County and a Fire 
Weather Watch remains for counties generally along and west of 
Highway 25 and along and south of Interstate 70. Low relative 
humidity and wind gusts near 40 MPH will increase fire danger.

Isolated strong to severe storms may be possible Thursday afternoon. 

Thursday afternoon may see patches of blowing dust, mainly near and 
south of the Interstate 70 corridor.

Spotter activation may be required Thursday.
