Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 53 degrees west, near 61 degrees central, and near 61 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 51 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 97%, and the dew point is near 60 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 87%, and the dew point is near 57 degrees. Winds are from the north at 12 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 18 mph with gusts at 29 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the south at 23 mph with gusts at 38 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 73 degrees at Medicine Lodge. The lowest temperature is 53 degrees at Goodland.

produced the first April thunderstorm of record at Fairbanks. Pea size hail

Severe thunderstorms associated with an intense cyclone spawned a total of
forty-seven tornadoes in two days from Louisiana to Upper Michigan. The
