Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 41 degrees west, near 45 degrees central, and near 39 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, partly cloudy central, and mostly cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 57%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 70%, and the dew point is near 30 degrees. Winds are calm west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 14 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are calm east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 46 degrees at Coffeyville and Chanute. The lowest temperature is 37 degrees at Lawrence.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday

Very high grassland fire danger is possible for portions of central
and south-central Kansas Monday afternoon.

There is a chance for storms late Monday night through Tuesday
morning, but severe weather is not expected with this activity.

Thunderstorm chances may return on Wednesday and Thursday, but there
is large uncertainty if storms will be strong or severe with this
activity.
