Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas
Based on observations at 300am CDT, Friday April 19, 2024

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 41 degrees west, near 46 degrees central, and near 43 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, partly cloudy central, and mostly cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 55%, and the dew point is near 26 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 33 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 57%, and the dew point is near 29 degrees. Winds are calm west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 13 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are calm east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 50 degrees at Coffeyville. The lowest temperature is 37 degrees at Pratt and Elkhart.

Moderately gusty southeast winds combined with lower relative
humidity will produce elevated fire weather conditions across
extreme southwest Kansas this afternoon. Outdoor burning is
discouraged.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.
