Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Kansas

Across Kansas...temperatures are near 34 degrees west, near 56 degrees central, and near 51 degrees east. Current sky conditions are light snow west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 92%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 32%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 31%, and the dew point is near 22 degrees. There is patchy fog west. Winds are from the northeast at 13 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light snow. The wind chill is near 25 degrees west. Winds are from the northeast at 12 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the north at 8 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 58 degrees at Chanute. The lowest temperature is 34 degrees at Goodland.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday

Very high grassland fire danger is possible for portions of central
and south-central Kansas Monday afternoon.

There is a chance for storms late Monday night through Tuesday
morning, but severe weather is not expected with this activity.

Thunderstorm chances may return on Wednesday and Thursday, but
there is large uncertainty if storms will be strong or severe with 
this activity.
