Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Indiana
Based on observations at 700am EDT, Friday April 26, 2024

Across Indiana...temperatures are near 39 degrees north, near 45 degrees central, and near 54 degrees south. Current sky conditions are fair north, mostly cloudy central, and cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 64%, and the dew point is near 28 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 68%, and the dew point is near 35 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 61%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 13 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 9 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 6 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 54 degrees at Evansville. The lowest temperature is FAIR degrees at Warsaw and Kokomo.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For GIBSON County,IN

411 AM CDT Fri Apr 26 2024 /511 AM EDT Fri Apr 26 2024/

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible mainly over southeast 
Missouri and southern Illinois late this afternoon and tonight. A
few severe storms with a damaging wind and hail threat will be 
possible mainly over southeast Missouri and southern Illinois.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday

More widespread thunderstorms will push eastward across the region
beginning late Sunday and continuing through Monday. Some of the 
initial storms Sunday afternoon and evening could be severe over 
southeast Missouri and southern Illinois. Heavy rainfall and 
flooding will also be more of a concern Sunday night and Monday.

South winds will gust 30 to 40 mph at times on Sunday.

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT  

Spotter activation cannot be ruled out over southeast Missouri and
southern Illinois late this afternoon into tonight, and again 
late Sunday afternoon through Sunday night.
