Surface 4-Panel Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Illinois Based on observations at 700am CDT, Thursday April 25, 2024 Across Illinois...temperatures are near 33 degrees north, near 32 degrees central, and near 40 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly sunny north, clear central, and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near 78%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 100%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 38 degrees. Winds are calm north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 5 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 27 degrees central. Winds are from the northeast at 10 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 110/ degrees at Northerly Island. The lowest temperature is 31 degrees at Bloomington and Aurora.

US Radar, All NWS Radars (In near-real time),Livestock Heat Stress Index (LSI), Wind Chill Map Hazardous Weather Outlook For WARREN County,IL 524 AM CDT Thu Apr 25 2024 DAY ONE TODAY AND TONIGHT Areas of frost and freeze will continue across portions of northwestern Illinois through 8 AM. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms may spread eastward across the eastern Iowa and northeastern Missouri portions of the Outlook area late tonight after Midnight. Severe storms are not anticipated tonight. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY A wet and stormy pattern is setting up for Friday through Sunday night, as a pair of large low pressure systems move through the region. Some strong to severe storms will be possible Friday afternoon and especially Friday night as a warm front lifts north through the region with the first storm system. The associated front will linger over the region, leading to a persistent focus for thunderstorms Saturday and into Sunday when the second system passes. The better chances for severe storms these days currently appear to be Saturday night and again Sunday afternoon into the evening. Rounds of heavy rainfall could eventually lead to some flooding issues as well. The Storm Prediction Center has a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) for portions of the Outlook Area every day from Friday through Sunday. All modes of severe weather will be possible, but large hail and damaging winds will be the primary threats. SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: East to northeast at 35 to 40 MPH. Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight. But spotter activation will likely be needed at times Friday through Sunday.
