Surface 4-Panel Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Illinois Based on observations at 400pm CDT, Thursday April 25, 2024 Across Illinois...temperatures are near 61 degrees north, near 60 degrees central, and near 61 degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny north, partly sunny central, and cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 29%, and the dew point is near 29 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 43%, and the dew point is near 38 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 41%, and the dew point is near 37 degrees. Winds are from the southwest at 6 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 10 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 8 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 66 degrees at Metropolis. The lowest temperature is 30/ degrees at Northerly Island.

US Radar, All NWS Radars (In near-real time),Livestock Heat Stress Index (LSI), Wind Chill Map Hazardous Weather Outlook For STARK County,IL 310 PM CDT Thu Apr 25 2024 DAY ONE Tonight. Isolated thunderstorms are possible in west central Illinois toward sunrise. These are not expected to be severe. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Friday through Wednesday. Scattered thunderstorms will move across the area Friday morning, with additional storms again Friday night. While the overall severe weather threat is not high during this period, a few storms may contain some hail and gusty winds. Some locally heavy rain is also expected Friday morning. Better chances of severe weather are expected Saturday into Sunday. The threat during the day on Saturday is more uncertain, but increases Saturday night then again later toward Sunday evening. Locally heavy rain will accompany the storms during this time frame. South winds will gust from 30 to 40 mph on Saturday and Sunday, with the highest gusts more likely on Sunday.
