Cirrus clouds moved across western Illinois this evening, as a
band of rainfall slid through eastern Missouri. Temperatures late
evening were beginning to fall into the 60s.

The dry and seasonable weather pattern will continue through the
remainder of this week and into the weekend. As High pressure
slides toward the East Coast this weekend, temperatures will climb
back into the upper 80s to near 90 by Sunday.

Lows tonight will drop into the mid 50s to mid 60s. Highs Thursday
will peak in the upper 70s across northeast Indiana, increasing
southwest to the mid 80s in Missouri.

Across Illinois...temperatures are near 53 degrees north and near 57 degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny north and sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 35%, and the dew point is near 26 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 51%, and the dew point is near 39 degrees. Winds are from the west at 21 mph with gusts at 33 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are unavailable central. Winds are from the north at 16 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 280/ degrees at Northerly Island. The lowest temperature is 52 degrees at Taylorville.
