Hazardous Weather Outlook For RICHLAND County,IL

328 PM CDT Mon Mar 18 2024

 DAY ONE Tonight.

A hard freeze is expected tonight across all of central and
southeast Illinois. Temperatures will drop into the middle to upper
20s across the area. Precautions should be taken to protect
sensitive vegetation.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Tuesday through Sunday.

West-southwest winds will gust 35 to 45 mph mid morning through
early afternoon on Tuesday, then turn to northwesterly and gradually
ease through the evening. This, combined with 25 to 35 percent
relative humidities, will lead to increased fire danger so those
planning to burn should use caution.

There is a 60 to 90 percent chance of a hard freeze again Wednesday
night. Precautions should be taken to protect sensitive, early
vegetation.

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT

Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.
