Cirrus clouds moved across western Illinois this evening, as a
band of rainfall slid through eastern Missouri. Temperatures late
evening were beginning to fall into the 60s.

The dry and seasonable weather pattern will continue through the
remainder of this week and into the weekend. As High pressure
slides toward the East Coast this weekend, temperatures will climb
back into the upper 80s to near 90 by Sunday.

Lows tonight will drop into the mid 50s to mid 60s. Highs Thursday
will peak in the upper 70s across northeast Indiana, increasing
southwest to the mid 80s in Missouri.

Across Illinois...temperatures are near 50 degrees north, near 69 degrees central, and near 73 degrees south. Current sky conditions are light rain north, cloudy central, and light rain south. In the north, relative humidity is near 86%, and the dew point is near 46 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 78%, and the dew point is near 62 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 68%, and the dew point is near 63 degrees. Winds are from the north at 13 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Winds are from the south at 17 mph with gusts at 33 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the west at 23 mph with gusts at 35 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 360/ degrees at Northerly Island. The lowest temperature is 49 degrees at Waukegan.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For RICHLAND County,IL

 DAY ONE  Tonight.

Numerous thunderstorms will roll across the area between 4 and 10 pm
this evening, with a level 3 of 5 (enhanced) chance these storms 
become severe. Scattered wind gusts over 60 mph and hail greater 
than 1 inch in diameter are the primary concerns, though a tornado 
cannot be ruled out.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday.

Minor flooding will continue along the Wabash River for several more
days. Otherwise, no hazardous weather is expected at this time.

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT  

Spotter activation will likely be needed between 5 pm and 11 pm.

Expected storm motion is toward the east-northeast around 45 mph.
