Weather Summary For Central And Southeast Illinois

Cirrus clouds moved across western Illinois this evening, as a
band of rainfall slid through eastern Missouri. Temperatures late
evening were beginning to fall into the 60s.

The dry and seasonable weather pattern will continue through the
remainder of this week and into the weekend. As High pressure
slides toward the East Coast this weekend, temperatures will climb
back into the upper 80s to near 90 by Sunday.

Lows tonight will drop into the mid 50s to mid 60s. Highs Thursday
will peak in the upper 70s across northeast Indiana, increasing
southwest to the mid 80s in Missouri.

Across Illinois...temperatures are near 48 degrees north and near 52 degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny north and mostly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 35 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 76%, and the dew point is near 45 degrees. Winds are from the south at 6 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are unavailable central. Winds are from the southeast at 9 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 120/ degrees at Northerly Island. The lowest temperature is 41 degrees at Waukegan.
