Cirrus clouds moved across western Illinois this evening, as a
band of rainfall slid through eastern Missouri. Temperatures late
evening were beginning to fall into the 60s.

The dry and seasonable weather pattern will continue through the
remainder of this week and into the weekend. As High pressure
slides toward the East Coast this weekend, temperatures will climb
back into the upper 80s to near 90 by Sunday.

Lows tonight will drop into the mid 50s to mid 60s. Highs Thursday
will peak in the upper 70s across northeast Indiana, increasing
southwest to the mid 80s in Missouri.

Across Illinois...temperatures are near 61 degrees north, near 59 degrees central, and near 59 degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny north, partly sunny central, and cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 29%, and the dew point is near 29 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 49%, and the dew point is near 40 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 53%, and the dew point is near 42 degrees. Winds are from the south at 10 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 9 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 5 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 64 degrees at Metropolis. The lowest temperature is 44 degrees at Waukegan.

 DAY ONE  Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday.

Scattered thunderstorms will move across the area Friday, with 
additional storms again Friday night. While the overall severe 
weather threat is not high during this period, a few storms may 
contain some hail and gusty winds. 

Additional thunderstorms are expected Saturday morning, and again
Sunday night into Monday. The severe weather threat is uncertain
during this period.

South winds will gust from 30 to 40 mph on Saturday and Sunday, with
a few gusts on Sunday up to 45 mph.
