Cirrus clouds moved across western Illinois this evening, as a
band of rainfall slid through eastern Missouri. Temperatures late
evening were beginning to fall into the 60s.

The dry and seasonable weather pattern will continue through the
remainder of this week and into the weekend. As High pressure
slides toward the East Coast this weekend, temperatures will climb
back into the upper 80s to near 90 by Sunday.

Lows tonight will drop into the mid 50s to mid 60s. Highs Thursday
will peak in the upper 70s across northeast Indiana, increasing
southwest to the mid 80s in Missouri.

Across Illinois...temperatures are near 51 degrees north, near 50 degrees central, and near 54 degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny north, cloudy central, and sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 39%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 44%, and the dew point is near 29 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 52%, and the dew point is near 37 degrees. Winds are from the west at 17 mph with gusts at 35 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northwest at 15 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the north at 8 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 280/ degrees at Northerly Island. The lowest temperature is 48 degrees at Taylorville, Springfield, Rochelle, Rantoul, and De Kalb.
