Cirrus clouds moved across western Illinois this evening, as a
band of rainfall slid through eastern Missouri. Temperatures late
evening were beginning to fall into the 60s.

The dry and seasonable weather pattern will continue through the
remainder of this week and into the weekend. As High pressure
slides toward the East Coast this weekend, temperatures will climb
back into the upper 80s to near 90 by Sunday.

Lows tonight will drop into the mid 50s to mid 60s. Highs Thursday
will peak in the upper 70s across northeast Indiana, increasing
southwest to the mid 80s in Missouri.

Across Illinois...temperatures are near 46 degrees north, near 52 degrees central, and near 49 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, mostly cloudy central, and partly cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 45%, and the dew point is near 26 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 50%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 74%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. Winds are from the west at 17 mph with gusts at 24 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the west at 6 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 230/ degrees at Northerly Island. The lowest temperature is 43 degrees at Freeport.
