Cirrus clouds moved across western Illinois this evening, as a
band of rainfall slid through eastern Missouri. Temperatures late
evening were beginning to fall into the 60s.

The dry and seasonable weather pattern will continue through the
remainder of this week and into the weekend. As High pressure
slides toward the East Coast this weekend, temperatures will climb
back into the upper 80s to near 90 by Sunday.

Lows tonight will drop into the mid 50s to mid 60s. Highs Thursday
will peak in the upper 70s across northeast Indiana, increasing
southwest to the mid 80s in Missouri.

Across Illinois...temperatures are near 74 degrees north, near 78 degrees central, and near 81 degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny north, mostly sunny central, and partly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 26%, and the dew point is near 37 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 38%, and the dew point is near 51 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 66 degrees. The heat index is near 83 degrees south. The livestock heat stress category is no stress north, no stress central, and no stress south. Winds are from the west at 16 mph with gusts at 24 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northwest at 6 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northwest at 6 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying.
