Current sky conditions are light rain west, cloudy central, and light rain east. In the west, relative humidity is near 96%, and the dew point is near 56 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 86%, and the dew point is near 53 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 47 degrees. There is patchy fog west. Winds are from the southeast at 21 mph with gusts at 29 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Winds are from the southeast at 15 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 18 mph with gusts at 28 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 68 degrees at Clarinda. The lowest temperature is 47 degrees at Mason City, Dubuque, and Clinton.

US Radar, All NWS Radars (In near-real time), Current Livestock Heat Stress Index (LSI), Current Wind Chill Map Hazardous Weather Outlook For CLINTON County,IA 351 AM CDT Fri Apr 26 2024 DAY ONE TODAY AND TONIGHT Showers and a few non-severe thunderstorms will lift across the Outlook area today. Tonight, scattered thunderstorms are possible. A few of the storms could produce large hail to around quarter size and damaging winds to 60 mph. The Storm Prediction Center has much of the Outlook area in a level 1 out of 5, or Marginal risk for severe weather, with a level 2 out of 5, or Slight risk for portions of eastern Iowa and northeast Missouri. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY Additional rounds of thunderstorms are expected late Saturday afternoon through Sunday. Severe weather will be possible with large hail and damaging winds the main threats. Tornadoes can't be ruled out, but they appear to be a lower threat at this time. The rounds of heavy rainfall could eventually lead to some flooding issues as well. The Storm Prediction Center has the entire Outlook area in a Slight risk, or level 2 out of 5 for Saturday. On Sunday, a Slight risk covers much of the area along and south of Interstate 80, with a Marginal risk to the north.
