Across Georgia...temperatures are near 85 degrees north, near 84 degrees central, and near 80 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly sunny north, mostly sunny central, and partly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 39%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 47%, and the dew point is near 62 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 58%, and the dew point is near 64 degrees. Winds are from the south at 9 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the north at 3 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 88 degrees at Augusta (Daniels). The lowest temperature is 79 degrees at Bainbridge.

 DAY ONE  This Afternoon and Tonight  

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low. 

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible north of a line 
extending from Columbus to Macon to Athens late this evening and 
overnight. Gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall are possible in 
any storms that form. A few strong to severe storms are possible 
across portions of northwest and north-central Georgia, with the 
primary hazards being large hail and damaging wind gusts.


 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday  

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday through 
Sunday. A few storms may become strong to severe on Friday, with 
the primary hazards being large hail and damaging wind gusts.
