Across Georgia...temperatures are near 61 degrees north, near 62 degrees central, and near 65 degrees south. Current sky conditions are sunny north, sunny central, and sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 33%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 35%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 33%, and the dew point is near 35 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 6 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 9 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 65 degrees at Valdosta. The lowest temperature is 57 degrees at Rome, Dalton, and Cartersville.

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight  

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

Areas of frost are possible across extreme northeast Georgia, and
a Frost Advisory is in effect for early this morning. Patchy 
frost is possible across other areas of north Georgia, but 
coverage and duration is not expected to warrant an advisory at 
this time. 

A Fire Danger Statement is in effect this afternoon and early 
evening across much of north and central Georgia due to low 
relative humidity, breezy conditions, and dry fuels.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday  

Showers and thunderstorms are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, a
few storms could become strong with gusty winds, heavy rainfall,
and frequent lightning.

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT  

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
