Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Georgia
Based on observations at 400pm EDT, Tuesday April 16, 2024

Across Georgia...temperatures are near 82 degrees north, near 83 degrees central, and near 86 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly sunny north, partly sunny central, and mostly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 35%, and the dew point is near 52 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 38%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 39%, and the dew point is near 59 degrees. Winds are from the south at 10 mph with gusts at 20 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southwest at 10 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 5 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 86 degrees at Valdosta, Peachtree City, and Cartersville. The lowest temperature is 77 degrees at Saint Simons.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low. 

A Fire Danger Statement is in effect for portions of northwest 
Georgia this afternoon due to low relative humidities. 

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Wednesday through Monday  

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible Wednesday
through Sunday, with the greatest coverage expected in northern
Georgia. Severe weather is not expected at this time.
