Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Georgia

Across Georgia...temperatures are near 83 degrees north, near 84 degrees central, and near 85 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly sunny north, mostly sunny central, and sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 49%, and the dew point is near 62 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 50%, and the dew point is near 64 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 53%, and the dew point is near 66 degrees. Winds are from the southwest at 10 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the west at 10 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 87 degrees at Fort Stewart. The lowest temperature is 72 degrees at Rome.

 DAY ONE  This Afternoon and Tonight  

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon 
and tonight along and north of a line from Columbus to Macon. 
Strong storms will be possible along with an isolated severe 
thunderstorm. The primary threats will be gusty winds, large hail,
and periods of heavy rainfall are possible in any storms that 
form.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday  

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible Saturday and  
Sunday. No severe storms are anticipated at this time.
