Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Colorado
Based on observations at 1000am MDT, Tuesday April 23, 2024

Across Colorado...temperatures are near 72 degrees west, near 48 degrees central, and near 62 degrees east. Current sky conditions are fair west, partly sunny central, and fair east. In the west, relative humidity is near 21%, and the dew point is near 30 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 37%, and the dew point is near 23 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 28%, and the dew point is near 29 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 14 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are calm central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 18 mph with gusts at 28 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 72 degrees at GRAND JUNCTION. The lowest temperature is 37 degrees at MONARCH PASS.

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight

Isolated thunderstorm development is possible over northern
portions of Colorado and Utah through this evening with gusty 
winds and lightning the main threats. Winds gusts of 25 to 35 mph 
and low afternoon humidity will bring elevated fire weather 
concerns.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Wednesday through Monday

Elevated fire weather concerns continue through tomorrow before 
additional moisture arrives for widespread precipitation by the 
weekend. Thunderstorm development will possible each day. High 
elevation snowfall is also likely late this week into the weekend.
