- Accumulating snow and minor travel impacts across the Park
  Range/Rabbit Ears Pass tonight. Mainly lighter accumulations 
  across the remainder of the Northern Mountains. 

- Occasional snow showers in the mountains and scattered showers 
  for the northern plains Friday through Saturday.

- Mountain snow, with a mix of rain and snow likely for the
  plains, late Sunday into Monday. Mostly light but there could be
  some impact for the mountains and foothills.

In the west, relative humidity is near 17%, and the dew point is near 17 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 18%, and the dew point is near 15 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 15%, and the dew point is near 17 degrees. Winds are from the east at 3 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The worst tornado disaster of record occurred in Chicago IL as a tornado
killed 28 persons and caused three million dollars damage. (David Ludlum)

Ten tornadoes tore across the area, affecting the Kentucky counties of 
Adair, Metcalfe, Casey, Green, Larue, Marion, Hardin, Hart, Nelson, and 
Russell; and the Indiana counties of Scott and Jefferson. Two of the 
twisters produced F3 damage. A 28-year-old woman was killed in Metcalfe 
County as she was thrown from her destroyed mobile home. A 40-year-old man 
was killed when his house in Bonnieville (Hart County) was hit by one of 
the F3 tornadoes and blown off its foundation. This tornado injured many 
people when it caused several car accidents as it crossed Interstate 65.
