Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Colorado
Based on observations at 1000pm MDT, Thursday April 18, 2024

Across Colorado...temperatures are near 68 degrees west, near 33 degrees central, and near 46 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, cloudy central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 20%, and the dew point is near 26 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 88%, and the dew point is near 30 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 42%, and the dew point is near 24 degrees. There is patchy fog central. Winds are from the west at 13 mph with gusts at 21 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 8 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 26 degrees central. Winds are from the east at 10 mph with gusts at 22 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 68 degrees at GRAND JUNCTION. The lowest temperature is 28 degrees at LA VETA PASS.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For PIKES County,CO

 DAY ONE  Tonight

Light snow and a rain, snow mix are expected over portions of the
Pikes Peak region, though accumulations and impacts are expected 
to be minimal.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday

Critical fire weather conditions are expected across the San Luis
Valley Friday afternoon due to strong gusty west to southwest 
winds and low humidity values.

Isolated light showers are expected Friday afternoon, mostly 
along and immediately around the mountains. More widespread 
precipitation chances return this weekend, particularly on Friday 
night and Saturday morning, and again mid Saturday afternoon and 
Saturday evening. Snow is expected along the mountains, with 
mostly rain expected for the lower elevations. Isolated light 
showers will be possible Sunday through Wednesday across the 
region, especially along the mountains.
