Current sky conditions are cloudy west, mostly cloudy central, and fair east. In the west, relative humidity is near 56%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 64%, and the dew point is near 23 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 73%, and the dew point is near 30 degrees. Winds are from the north at 6 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 10 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 26 degrees central. Winds are from the southwest at 3 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 54 degrees at FORT CARSON and COLO. SPRINGS. The lowest temperature is 21 degrees at WOLF CREEK PAS.
US Radar, All NWS Radars (In near-real time), Current Livestock Heat Stress Index (LSI), Current Wind Chill Map Hazardous Weather Outlook For LOGAN County,CO 1101 AM MDT Thu Mar 28 2024 DAY ONE Today and Tonight Snow showers will increase across the northern mountains this evening and spread southward to the I-70 Mountain Corridor and Summit County overnight. Snowfall accumulations will be highest over the Park Range and Rabbit Ears Pass where some travel impacts will be possible starting late this evening. Accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected overnight near the northern border, with lighter amounts elsewhere. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Friday through Wednesday Periods of snow showers are expected over the high country through Sunday. The snow will mostly be light. Scattered light rain showers will occur across the plains north of I-76 at times, mainly Friday evening. Another weather system will bring snow to the mountains Sunday and Monday, with a mixture of rain and snow likely along the I-25 corridor Sunday night into Monday. The plains will most likely see rain with this system with some snow possible mainly north of Interstate 76. Overall, precipitation is expected to be light. There is a chance of a period of heavy snow in the Front Range mountains and foothills Sunday night into Monday morning.
