Current sky conditions are cloudy west, partly sunny central, and fair east. In the west, relative humidity is near 79%, and the dew point is near 38 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 51%, and the dew point is near 26 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 53%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 6 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the north at 10 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northwest at 6 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 57 degrees at PUEBLO. The lowest temperature is 18 degrees at WOLF CREEK PAS.
US Radar, All NWS Radars (In near-real time), Current Livestock Heat Stress Index (LSI), Current Wind Chill Map Hazardous Weather Outlook For JACKSON County,CO 606 AM MDT Fri Mar 29 2024 DAY ONE Today and Tonight Snow showers will continue across the mountains today, with the heaviest snow near the northern border this morning. Showers will increase again this evening, again heaviest north of Berthoud Pass. Additional snowfall today and tonight will be 6 to 12 inches around Rabbit Ears Pass, with 2 to 6 inches over the rest of the mountains and lighter amounts in the valleys. On the plains, scattered rain showers are expected, mainly north of Denver this afternoon. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Saturday through Thursday Periods of snow showers are expected over the high country through Sunday. The snow will mostly be light and any travel impacts will be limited to the higher passes after dark. Another weather system will bring snow to the mountains Sunday and Monday, with a mixture of rain and snow along the I-25 corridor Sunday night through Monday. Overall, precipitation is expected to be light. There is a chance of a moderate snow in the Front Range mountains and foothills Sunday afternoon and again Monday afternoon. Hazardous travel conditions in the mountains are possible after dark late Sunday into early Monday, and perhaps again after dark on Monday. SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
