Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Colorado
Based on observations at 1200pm MDT, Tuesday April 16, 2024

Across Colorado...temperatures are near 60 degrees west, near 61 degrees central, and near 65 degrees east. Current sky conditions are fair west, partly sunny central, and fair east. In the west, relative humidity is near 39%, and the dew point is near 35 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 36%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 44%, and the dew point is near 43 degrees. Winds are from the west at 5 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the north at 24 mph with gusts at 37 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the north at 28 mph with gusts at 45 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 71 degrees at PUEBLO. The lowest temperature is 25 degrees at MONARCH PASS.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For DENVER County,CO

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight

High winds are expected over the northeast plains today, 
northeast of a line from Fort Collins to Limon. In these areas 
wind gusts up to 65 mph are possible. The winds on the plains 
will diminish early this evening. The Urban Corridor and foothills
can expected west-northwesterly winds up to 35 mph this 
afternoon.


Scattered light alpine snow showers will continue to decrease this
afternoon with minimal additional accumulations.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Wednesday through Monday

Periods of mountain snow and rain showers on the plains through
the first part of the weekend. Showers may mix in with snow on the
plains during the overnight period with little accumulation
expected. Light to localized moderate snow amounts in the
mountains.

Spotter reports of snowfall or high winds will be appreciated.
