Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Colorado
Based on observations at 800am MDT, Friday April 26, 2024

Across Colorado...temperatures are near 57 degrees west, near 54 degrees central, and near 53 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, partly sunny central, and fair east. In the west, relative humidity is near 38%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 54%, and the dew point is near 38 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 86%, and the dew point is near 49 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 7 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the west at 3 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the west at 8 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 57 degrees at GRAND JUNCTION. The lowest temperature is 21 degrees at WOLF CREEK PAS.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For BENT County,CO

 DAY ONE  Today and Tonight

An upper-level system will move into the area this afternoon. Snow 
will begin over the mountains first, increasing in coverage and 
intensity through tonight and into Saturday. Meanwhile, showers and 
some thunderstorms are expected across most of the eastern plains 
starting late this afternoon. The main impact concerns will be 
locally heavy rainfall and some lightning. 

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday

Snow will continue to increase over the higher terrain tomorrow 
through Sunday. Highest amounts are expected over the eastern San 
Juan Mountains, Sawatch Range, and Pike's peak Region, where there
can be accumulations between 12 and 18 inches. Showers and 
thunderstorms will move out over the plains tomorrow, some periods
of heavy rain will be possible along portions of the I- 25 
corridor, especially in El Paso County. Localized areas of urban
flash flooding could be possible.

Another storm later in the week could bring a quick shot of 
precipitation back to portions of the area, mainly north of
Highway 50.
