Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Colorado
Based on observations at 900pm MDT, Friday April 19, 2024

Across Colorado...temperatures are near 68 degrees west, near 31 degrees central, and near 47 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, snow central, and fair east. In the west, relative humidity is near 22%, and the dew point is near 28 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 92%, and the dew point is near 29 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 45%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. Visibility is less than one mile central. Winds are from the north at 9 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 8 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to snow. The wind chill is near 23 degrees central. Winds are from the east at 14 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 68 degrees at GRAND JUNCTION. The lowest temperature is 21 degrees at MONARCH PASS.

Hazardous Weather Outlook For BACA County,CO

 DAY ONE  Tonight

Some light snow will be possible over the central mountains and 
the Pikes Peak region into the evening hours. One to four inches 
of snow will be possible over the higher elevations. A dusting to 
an inch of snow will be possible over the higher elevations in 
northern El Paso County.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday

Light precipitation is expected through much of Saturday, with more 
widespread light precipitation during the morning, and more 
rain and snow showers during the afternoon and evening. Snow is 
expected along the mountains, with mostly rain expected for lower 
elevations. Any snow accumulations will be minor, with around and 
less than 0.5 inch of snow expected. Isolated light showers will 
be possible Sunday through Wednesday across the region, especially
along the mountains, with precipitation chances increasing again 
Thursday for much of the area.
